Snazzy Little Cup Beats Landfill
I have bought a KeepCup!! Our project has already given me the motivation to make a difference, so good on us. I predict that this snazzy little cup should save a lot of lids and coffee cups from landfill. According to the KeepCup website, in Australia, biodegradation of a paper cup can take 50 years or more. Makes me feel a little bit better for spending so much on coffee!!

Is there any way of measuring landfill effect?
In line with this idea, I've noticed several restaurants over in Nth Fitzroy where you have to provide your own containers upon ordering take-away. I thought this was fantastic!
